the Swedish legislature passed a measure in November
Any provider that wishes to keep offering games to the Swedish market from July 1, 2023 needs to get a B2B license. This requirement came into place after the Swedish legislature passed a measure in November. The motivation behind the change is to stop unlicensed operators from getting access to game providers.
The Malta-based Kalamba Games supplies many popular online slots, including Joker Rainbows, Duel of the Dead, and Phat Cats.
Talking about the license approval, Kalamba Games commercial director John Cutler referred to Sweden as “important” and said that he was excited to continue to provide engaging titles to Swedish players.
Other online casino content suppliers also recently received B2B licenses in Sweden, including Hacksaw Gaming, Booming Games, and Play’n GO.
