The erratic behavior of a professional Valorant player led fans to voice concern just before he was arrested for the second time this year.
American gamer Hunter “SicK” Mims, part of the Sentinels esports organization, was arrested on Monday in Texas. Collin County records show the pro player was taken to jail for Class B criminal trespassing, the second time he has faced charges on that offense in 2023.

As noted by fans, KicK acted erratically in the days leading up to the most recent arrest on social media and during streams. The streamer was slurring his speech and acting strangely while interacting with his Twitch chat. Some tweets also appeared to show drugs and paraphernalia, although he denied that he was using any addictive drugs.
SicK’s former teammate Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan asked fans to ignore his actions as he “isn’t himself.” On Twitter, some of SicK’s fans have urged him to take a break from social media to get his mental health in order. One follower called xLmeMo commented: “My man has lost the plot. Sad sight seeing.”
SicK’s first brush with the law in 2023 came in early March following an altercation at a car dealership. His esports team posted the $5,000 bond and flew the player’s sister into Dallas. Sentinels benched and suspended the player, committing to support him during the difficult period.
